Due to a long–term care experience with his own family, Don saw firsthand how important financial planning could be to those nearing retirement. He draws from his investment background to help clients design retirement plans that can secure the monthly income they need for the future and be better prepared if and when uncertainties occur.

Don is principal of Fine Future Financial (FFF) and an independent fiduciary advisor who has assisted his clients in protecting their assets and income for over 25 years. Don lives by the Golden Rule, “treat others the way you want to be treated”, and as such, he and his team put the needs of his clients first. He is dedicated to educating his clients and helping them identify and accomplish their financial goals. Through his planning strategies, his clients realize maximized lifetime retirement income, protection of their assets, income tax savings, and reduced exposure to stock volatility.
Being independent provides Don freedom to research and recommend strategic solutions that are in his client’s best interest. He is passionate about educating individuals and groups so they can make informed financial decisions.
Prior to 1996, Don worked for about 12 years in the corporate treasury group of a Fortune 100 energy company analyzing corporate financial risks. After a long- term care incident in his own family, he redirected his skills, applying what he had learned in the corporate world to helping individuals and business owners identify and protect themselves against risks that could be financially devastating.
Don lives in Beaumont, Texas, and graduated from Lamar University. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Pam, and they have three grown sons. When not helping clients, Don and Pam participate in volunteer ministry outreach to internationals who come to Beaumont to study, teach, or research at Lamar University. Don is also an active volunteer member of the non-profit Young Men’s Business League.
